RSMH TTI Started in the year 1998 under AWH management with the objective of undertaking manpower development and conducting research and development service models in the area of intellectual disability. The institute is recognized by Rehabilitation Council of India.

The institute offers two year teacher training course D.Ed.Spl.Ed. (IDD) (Diploma in Education Special Education Intellectual and developmental Disability) and the annual intake is 35. The course prepares the students to work as special educators in intellectual disability in special schools and special class situation in regular schools and also work in integrated setup in regular schools.

The examinations are conducted by National institute for Empowerment of Persons Intellectual Disabilities (NIEPID). Each year achieved 100% result. Four permanent faculties working in this institute.

The basic qualification for the admission of the course is 50% marks in plus two Examination. The institute conducting many Awareness programmes, celebration of the Intellectual Disability Day. Institutional visits, study tour etc.
